How to Transfer a Domain

There are 2 ways to transfer a domain.

1. Domain name forwarding

When a visitor types a Domain name that you set up for forwarding, it automatically forwards the visitors to your actual website while NOT changing the name of your actual website. This is a great way to get traffic to your main website. So all the while your actual domain name on your website does not change. This makes your website more accesible. You can transfer as many domains as you like to your website.

~Example of Fowarding:

You have a clothing store website called "Clothing.com", you choose to buy a domain name such as "ClothesForMe.com", whenever a visitor types "ClothesForMe.com", the visitor will automatically be taken to your website called "Clothing.com" WITHOUT changing the name of your actual website which is Clothing.com that is showing on the address bar (URL) at the top. Is like adding more flight connections to the same city. You can transfer as many domains as you like to a website.

2. Masking a Domain:

When a domain is masked, its actually Masked and Transferred all at the same time. Masking a domain prevents visitors from seeing the "actual domain name" of the website that you will actually be using by forwarding the new domain name to your "actual website" while at the same time by keeping your new domain name showing on the Web browser's address bar (url) on top, replacing the name of your actual website. So basically the new domain name is transferred while at the same time masked. You can mask as many domains as you like to a website.

~Example of Masking a Domain:

This website that you are looking at right now, has been masked. CoolDomainsForSale.com is a perfect example of "masking a domain". This website is a free wix.com website, so after the domain name of "CoolWebsitesForSale.com" was purchased, the domain name was masked to this free wix website that was created and that you are looking at right now, which is the actual website being used. So what you see on top of this web address bar (URL), right now is the name of "CoolWebsitesForSale.com". Is like when a person changes their name. You can mask as many domains as you want to a website. Masking a domain name to a website such as wix.com, is a great way of saving money, and the beauty is that no one notices because you masked your website with a domain name that you want. Also you save the hassle of rearranging your website to another company. This is great if you decide to change your actual domain name to a better domain name, without redoing the whole website page.
